- It Gives The Installation A Pleasing Finish, While Still Allowing Enough Air Into The Chamber Without Comprimising The Use Of The Firestop Plate
- It Is Attached To The Underside Of The Firestop Plate Using Magnets & Spacers. It Is Important To Use These Spacers To Allow The Correct Amount Of Air Into The Chamber
- A Firestop Plate Is Used To Allow The Chimney To Pass Between Floors, e.g. When You Need The Chimney To Go Through The Ceiling On The Ground Floor Through To The First Floor. The Steel Plate Is Designed To Provide The Appropriate Distance Between The Flue & The Adjacent Flamable Materials, According To Both Fire And Building Regulations. It Is Attached To The Underside Of The Ceiling
